Long Run -13.1mi Half Marathon on October 18 at 7:30am.

Each week, I will be doing two (2) cross training activities, such as cycling classes at the YMCA (which we joined yesterday) or a swimming workout in addition to a Barre, BodyPump, or Yoga class.

I have not given up on my BQ marathon dream.  I’m hoping that if I can finish this half marathon strong, healthy, and fast (I’m aiming for a 1:40 finish time or so), it will put me in a good position to train during the winter for (maybe) a spring marathon such as Glass City in Toledo (per the recommendation of a fellow mama runner here in Cbus).

I’ll try to figure out my specific paces in this coming week, though it may take a bit longer since Hubby will be going to back to work today.  We have had a glorious 2 weeks with him, but now it is back to the grind while figuring out a new routine here in Columbus with the boys.  I’ll be sure to fill you in on our upcoming adventures!  🙂
